 Was born in Naples, he grew up with the Piano School of VIncenzo Vitale at the Music Conservatory“S. Pietro a Majella” –Naples and got the Diploma in 1958 with the Highest mark and distinction, following simultanely humanistic studies and music composition.
He had a remarkable concert carreer ( as soloist , chamber music and with Orchestra) as well as the teaching activity, devoting himself to this that today still rappresent the fulcrum of his musical life, reaching a great and prestigious recognitions in Italy and abroad.
Still very young , he got the Chair of Principale Piano at the “A.Corelli”Conservatory in Messina after he attended and won the National Competition for theaching, working then also in Reggio Calabria and Bari.
He was one of the most qualified piano teacher at the “S. Pietro a Majella” through 37 years, being the deserving heir of His teacher V. Vitale Piano School.
He founded the Piano Association “S. Thalberg”. Member of prestigious National and international Piano Competition(“A. Speranza” di Taranto; “Porrino” di Cagliari; “A.M.A. Calabria”, “P.Denza”, di Capri, “A.Casella” di Napoli, atc..), He was for many years artistic director of “A. Longo”National Piano Competition in Torre Orsaia.
In 2008 Tha Association “ Ex Pupils of S. Pietro a Majella”,under the high Patronage of President of Italian Repubblic, Awarded him the Prize “Oltre l’Orizzonte”.
Recentely , togheter with the famous pianist M. Campanella, L. De Fusco, M. Leone and with the assistance of Stefania Bertucci, he started his work at the Masterclasses at the “Centro di studi pianistici V. Vitale”by the University of studies “Suor Orsola Benincasa” in Naples.
